Our Approach: Real Stories & Truth At HyperacouphenesEurope, we believe that lived experience matters. Hyperacusis and tinnitus are often invisible conditions. Because they cannot be seen, they are frequently misunderstood, minimized, or dismissed. That is why our approach is based on: Real testimonies We give space to authentic voices. People who live with hyperacusis and tinnitus share their daily reality the challenges, the struggles, but also the resilience and hope. Their stories help others feel less alone. They also help society understand the true impact of these conditions. Transparency and truth We do not exaggerate. We do not minimize. We speak honestly about: The physical pain The emotional impact The social and professional consequences The urgent need for research and recognition Our goal is to make the invisible visible. A message of hope and action While we recognize the suffering, we also believe in progress. Science is advancing. Awareness is growing. And together, we can create change. Because understanding is the first step toward recognition. And recognition is the first step toward solutions.
Are You a School or Educational Institution? This section has been created to support schools, colleges and universities in raising awareness about hearing health among students. We provide ready-to-use prevention materials, including posters, flyers and awareness videos adapted to young audiences. Our objective is to inform without blaming, using clear, modern and accessible communication tools. Noise exposure (headphones, concerts, repeated loud environments) is still widely underestimated. Early awareness can help prevent long-term conditions such as tinnitus and hyperacusis. Please contact us if you would like to receive our awareness videos to present them to your students as part of a prevention initiative. We remain available for any collaboration or further information.
